Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and manage piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs) throughout the entire project lifecycle.
- Review and integrate P&IDs for package units to ensure seamless project execution.
- Align and verify layout and piping engineering deliverables to maintain technical excellence.
- Prepare and manage equipment lists, line lists, tie-in lists, and other essential documentation.
- Take responsibility for coordinating with all stakeholders to ensure smooth communication and collaboration.
Requirements:
- Degree-level qualification in a process or mechanical engineering discipline.
- Minimum of two years of experience as P&ID engineer, experience within the Oil & Gas industry is desired.
- Proficiency in producing standard, uncomplicated drawings from rough sketches, or diagrams from detailed sketches.
- Ability to operate design software (AutoCAD, Plant3D AVEVA Diagrams, SmartPlant P&ID) is desired, knowledge in COMOS is a plus.
- Competence in multitasking and managing several projects at a time.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
- Interpersonal skills to work within a team, taking direction from Project Managers and Engineers.
- Ability to read a P&ID.
- Fluent English skills, whereby German skills are a plus and another European language is an advantage.
