Job Description

As a Customer Success Account Manager at Microsoft, you will be responsible for driving program management for strategic customers with significant cross-cloud workload engagements. Your primary goal will be to accelerate cloud adoption from pilot to production, ensuring seamless execution and customer success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with customers and account teams to develop and execute consumption plans, identifying and activating technical resources to deliver customer outcomes.
  • Establish and nurture strong sponsorship with customers, managing relationships and communication strategies to drive execution of support coverage models and consumption roadmaps.
  • Leverage cloud technology knowledge to drive technology projects, identifying and proposing outcomes related to deployment and health of customer solutions and workloads.
  • Accountable for delivery orchestration and support outcomes, providing leadership and orchestration across the Success & Support team, Microsoft technical specialists, and customer technical teams.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Sociology, Psychology, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Several years of customer success, solution delivery, practice management, customer-facing consulting, or portfolio management experience with focus on complex technical engagement management and/or program management.
  • Full proficiency in German and English (both written and verbal).
  • Austrian driving license and ability to deliver on travel commitment of 25-30%.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Several years of relevant work experience within customer industry with Industry Knowledge/Focus on Retail, Manufacturing, or Packaging.
  • Focus on Cloud and software/services solution preferred.
  • Microsoft or competitor equivalent certification in relevant technologies (e.g., Azure, 365).
  • Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) Foundation certification or equivalent service management certification.
  • Project Management Institute (PMI) or equivalent Project Management certification.
