To ensure the successful delivery of projects (medium to large scale) in the process sector, we are seeking a seasoned project manager.
As a Senior Project Manager, you will leverage your organizational abilities, communication skills, and assertiveness to propel projects forward. In addition to overall budget oversight, you will be responsible for effectively managing the project team, developing project and timeline plans, and liaising with all stakeholders involved.
Your responsibilities include:
Ensuring the successful execution of medium to large-scale projects Defining the project execution strategy to meet project goals Leading and guiding the entire project team Serving as the primary contact for the customer project manager throughout the project lifecycle, maintaining ongoing customer communication Initiating cost, risk, and schedule management as well as overseeing project reporting Taking charge of safety within the project, ensuring adherence to EHS standards Guaranteeing compliance with company protocols, standards, and guidelines, as well as maintaining the required quality in the project (QM & QC) Establishing and managing scope, change, and risk management at all project levels Coordinating workflow and internal communications to keep relevant stakeholders informed of project developments Negotiating with clients and partners (suppliers) and overseeing contract design/management
Our requirements:
Completed technical studies focusing on process engineering, biotechnology, chemistry, plant or mechanical engineering, or equivalent education Training in project management or PM certification is advantageous Several years of relevant experience in executing EPCM plant engineering projects in the process sector (biotech, pharmaceutical, chemical, or similar) Strong technical and economic understanding of project processes and interrelationships Excellent communication and organizational capabilities Strong team orientation combined with commitment, flexibility, and a hands-on approach High assertiveness and enjoyment in collaborating with diverse disciplines Proficient in English, knowledge of German is a plus Willingness to travel (primarily within Europe)Our offer:
