Job Title: IT Domain Architect

We are seeking an experienced IT Domain Architect to join our team at ÖBB. As a key member of our Rail Logistics department, you will be responsible for designing and implementing an architectural target image for our systems in rail logistics, particularly for the newly developed logistics platform MIKE.

Your Responsibilities:
  • Develop technical solution strategies and architecture designs based on product requirements and collaborate with the product manager and agile delivery teams.
  • Participate in overarching IT architecture initiatives and contribute to shaping the industry through international railway committees.
  • Conduct proof-of-concepts and feasibility analyses, and support the replacement of existing technologies.
  • Ensure architecture checks for new IT demands/requirements and actively participate in the ÖBB architecture community.
Your Profile:
  • At least 3 years of professional experience in IT, logistics, or railway technology, with a university or college degree or equivalent.
  • Experience in domain architecture in agile digitalization projects and comfort with state-of-the-art IT technologies.
  • Ability to shape topics independently and make decisions, with excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Fluency in English and a solid knowledge of the German language.
