About the Role

Frequentis Group, an international supplier of communication and information systems for control centres with safety-critical tasks, is seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to lead projects in the Strategic Business Unit "Defence". As a future project manager, you will be responsible for implementing our voice communication solutions for international customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Overall commercial, social, and technical responsibility (together with the Lead System Engineer) over international customer projects
  • Active planning, control, and coordination of project resources (budgets, milestones, quality, deadlines, tasks, etc.)
  • Ongoing reporting of project status as well as compliance and tracking of agreed goals and project standards
  • Participation and application in risk, claim, and change management processes
  • Internal and external stakeholder management
  • Elaboration of change requests and support of the proposal in coordination with Sales
Requirements
  • Completed business or technical education (e.g. HTL/HAK)
  • At least 2 to 4 years of professional experience as a project manager (ideally: IT or SW projects)
  • Knowledge and practical experience of common PM tools and methods
  • Very good English skills, German skills are an advantage
  • High level of customer understanding and confident demeanor coupled with independent action and a high level of commitment
  • Analytical thinking and good comprehension of technical contexts (telecommunications/IT)
  • Strong interpersonal skills and solution-oriented approach to challenges in the team and with the customer
  • Project management certification advantageous
  • Approx. 10-15% willingness to travel
