As a senior data scientist at Red Bull, you will be instrumental in developing and refining our analytics product that is revolutionizing the TV measurement and advertisement industry. Located in Elsbethen, Austria, our team is passionate about creating innovative solutions that drive business impact.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced data scientist with a strong background in machine learning, statistical modeling, and data analysis to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating and improving machine learning model components that feed into real-time projection processing.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Create and improve machine learning model components feeding real-time projection processing.
  • Conduct thorough exploratory analysis to evaluate input data and achieve full model understanding.
  • Evaluate the potential of new industry developments and implement your own ideas on small-scale to test and validate their expected benefits.
  • Develop and maintain high-quality statistical models and code production.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • A Master's degree or PhD in a highly quantitative field such as Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, etc.
  • Relevant experience in quantitative analytics and/or statistics (e.g., from part-time jobs or internships)
  • Advanced experience in application of statistical modeling (e.g., R, or Python with willingness to learn other)
  • Experience with database languages (e.g., SQL)
  • Experience with statistical techniques, including regression, classification, and testing.
  • Ability to translate your findings into clear and concise visualizations (e.g., ggplot, R Shiny, or Data Studio).
  • Ability to give understandable presentations on complex topics.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong willingness to learn.
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience, plus additional benefits such as travel opportunities (10-20% of the time) and the chance to work on exciting projects with a talented team.
