Our Supplier Engineering and Technology team is a crucial part of our operations, and as a Technical Quality Manager - Supply Chain Optimization, you will play a vital role in ensuring product quality, cost, and on-time delivery.

Job Description

This position involves coordinating and supporting the investigation of key quality defects of components from customers and/or field service teams. You will drive corrective actions and continuous improvement by collaborating with suppliers to enhance their quality and manufacturing processes.

  • Audit and document supply base performance on critical processes and overall quality management systems.
  • Collaborate with product management, global product group, and supplier business managers to continuously develop the supply base.
  • Lead high-profile project timelines and milestones, focusing on process improvement and developing Best Known Methods.
  • Provide technical support in Build, Test, and FQA to suppliers in product deployment and transition.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should have a university degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering and experience in one of the following areas:

  • Mechatronics/Automation/Robotics/Computers/Controllers/PCBA/Sensors/Detectors.
  • Fluid dynamics/Heaters/Pumps/Filters/Flow and Pressure Control; solid understanding of fluid mechanics, thermodynamics, mass/momentum/heat transfer.

You should also possess:

  • Creative thinking and strong problem-solving and troubleshooting capabilities.
  • Solid understanding of statistical process control and basic statistical analysis used in production settings.
  • Solid understanding of equipment and component manufacturing processes.
  • Experience in supplier process development & quality management.
  • Understanding of failure analysis and problem solving.
Benefits

This position offers a competitive monthly salary, paid 14 times per year, subject to the Austrian Collective Bargaining Agreement for Employees in the Metal Technology Industry in occupation group F. Additionally, you will receive:

  • Preferred qualifications include knowledge of Semiconductor equipment, Capital Equipment industry, and its manufacturing processes.
  • Effective communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal, in English.
  • Statistical analysis skills including statistical process control and data analysis used in production settings.
What We're Offering

A higher payment is negotiable depending on education, expertise, and skills. The estimated monthly salary for this position is $80,000 - $110,000 per month.
