We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Multilingual Project Coordinator to join our team at PeopleCert. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the translation of Business and IT products from English into German, ensuring timely delivery and maintaining high-quality standards.

Job Summary

The Multilingual Project Coordinator will oversee the entire lifecycle of translation projects, handle tasks such as translating, editing, proofreading, sourcing, onboarding, and coordinating external translators and Subject Matter Experts. This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals and ensure smooth workflows.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Language Proficiency: Native or equivalent fluency in German and English, with strong translation skills from English into German.
  • Experience: At least 3 years of experience working in a Language Service Provider environment or a translation function, with a focus on managing translation or localization projects from English into German. Experience in the professional education sector is preferred.
  • Qualifications: A translator qualification or MSc in Translation Studies is desirable.
  • Project Management: Proven ability to manage multiple projects concurrently while meeting time and budget requirements.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in CAT tools, Machine Translation (MT), and TMS (experience with XTM is advantageous).
  • File Management: Experience in handling various file formats with a solid understanding of file engineering within the context of localization.
