As a Project Scheduler and Planning Specialist (m/f/d), you will be tasked with the strategic oversight of project planning and ensuring that all necessary planning support is effectively provided across various initiatives and to the management team.

Explore your tasks and responsibilities

  • Lead the initial planning phases for all projects during the tender and pre-construction stages, ensuring that the tender program is both realistic and achievable while aligning with estimating functions.
  • Develop comprehensive tender programs and method statements that clearly outline the sequence, methodology, and timelines associated with each project.
  • For specific projects, initiate and regularly maintain detailed construction schedules alongside design and procurement timelines to ensure alignment with project objectives.
  • Gather data and update schedules to reflect progress or delays accurately.
  • Provide regular reports, either weekly or monthly, to the Project Manager.
  • Ensure adherence to current planning procedures, modifying them as necessary to meet specific client or project needs.
  • Stay informed about contemporary planning methodologies and integrate beneficial practices into Exyte's operations.

Show your expertise

  • A Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction Management.
  • Demonstrated experience in the EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) sector, collaborating with engineering teams, procurement, and contractors.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, coupled with outstanding organizational and coordination abilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.).
  • A foundational understanding of Project Controls Functions.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of established scheduling techniques and practices.
  • Proficient in using Primavera P6.
  • Familiarity with Critical Path Method (CPM) concepts and calculations.
  • Experience in earned value management, with the capability to audit and validate both engineering and construction progress.
  • Experience in integrating schedules with BIM models is preferred.
