About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Regional On The Road Operations Manager to join our team at Amazon Europe Core. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for maximizing OTR operations and DA experience by leveraging operational and stakeholder relationships.

Key Responsibilities
  • Define Medium-Term OTR Strategy: Develop and implement a medium-term OTR strategy that aligns with business goals and objectives.
  • Lead Operational Improvements: Lead and influence operational improvements across the region, including performance metrics and process improvements.
  • Coordinate Performance Improvements: Coordinate performance improvements across the regions, working closely with OTR ACES, OTR Safety, and Community teams.
  • Capacity Management: Own, deliver, and execute regional resourcing plans, including DA moves, capacity risk management, and DA ramp up and down plans.
  • Programme & Project Ownership: Coordinate OTR ACES and OTR Safety projects across the region.
  • Leadership: Dotted-line leadership of the regional AMDO and SMDO.
Requirements
  • Degree Qualification or Equivalent: Direct management experience in a logistics, manufacturing, engineering, production, or distribution environment.
  • Experience with Planning, Performance Metrics, and Process Improvement: Strong analytical capability, track record of digging into data and finding solutions for operational problems.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, including local language and English, written and verbal.
