We are a pioneering company dedicated to transforming vascular surgery with innovative solutions for artificial vascular grafts. Our mission is to improve patient outcomes in coronary and peripheral bypass surgery with cutting-edge technology.

Your Leadership Role

You will lead our venture in developing and commercializing the ArtiFex Vascular Graft. This involves advancing this breakthrough technology through its development and early-stage clinical validation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Raising Capital: Secure funding for First-In-Human (FIH) trials to demonstrate the clinical safety and efficacy of the ArtiFex Vascular Graft.
  • Strategic Partnerships: Build alliances with key stakeholders in the cardiovascular medical device industry for financial backing and clinical validation.
  • Clinical Collaboration: Work closely with research teams to bridge the worlds of R&D and clinical application.
  • Surgeon Engagement: Foster relationships with leading thoracic and cardiovascular surgeons for early support, feedback, and advocacy for ArtiFex's graft technology.
  • Exit Strategy: Define and lead a roadmap that positions ArtiFex for a successful exit, including identifying potential acquirers.

Requirements

  • Strong background in biomedical sciences with a deep understanding of the R&D process.
  • Proven ability to raise capital for early-stage medical device trials, ideally with experience securing funds for First-In-Human studies.
  • Established connections within the cardiovascular medical device industry for strategic and clinical advancement.
  • A well-developed network with thoracic and cardiovascular surgeons supporting clinical validation and early adoption.
  • Demonstrated skill in defining and executing strategies aimed at positioning early-stage ventures for acquisition or other exits.
