About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Assembly Technician to join our team at Lam Research. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for the mechanical assembly and installation of semiconductor manufacturing equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble and install mechanical components of semiconductor manufacturing equipment
- Perform structured diagnosis and problem-solving to ensure equipment is functioning correctly
- Conduct defined test procedures in accordance with internal test protocols and ensure quality standards are met
- Participate in the handover of development projects to production
- Engage in active knowledge sharing, including internal training and supplier training
- Verify documentation, materials, and any deviations
- Continuously improve products and workflows through active communication and collaboration with internal customers and suppliers
Requirements
- Completed LAP or HTL education as a Mechatronics or Electrical/Mechatronics Technician
- Basic IT knowledge (MS-Windows, MS-Office applications, etc.)
- Good English and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Technical understanding and analytical thinking
- Good IT knowledge (MS Office applications, SAP knowledge an asset)
- Basic English knowledge
- First work experience an asset, but not necessarily required
- Accurate and structured work style
