Product Systems Integration Specialist

About the Job
PALFINGER AG is seeking a highly skilled Product Systems Integration Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for integrating mechanical, hydraulic, and mechatronic modules and/or subsystems throughout the entire Product Development Process until serial production.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead teams of experts in different areas of competence and integrate them into a goal-oriented cooperation, leading by knowledge, methods, and charisma.
- Understand interfaces, performance requirements, and interaction of complex systems to perform preventive and proactive analysis and execution.
- Have hands-on experience in design to cost and value engineering, design for manufacturing and assembling.
- Be a reliable sparring partner to Product Management, Quality, Service Cost Controlling, Procurement, Operations, and Project Management.
- Cooperate with engineering entities responsible for innovation, delivering the product perspective into strategic developments.
- Validate design in physical prototypes and coordinate product verification with Prototyping and Testing.
- Have hands-on experience in risk analysis on concepts and capability of defining/reviewing the V&V plan accordingly.
- Have a deep understanding of Norms, their evolution, and their impact on product development cycle.
Requirements
- Bachelor or Master university degree in mechanical, mechatronic, hydraulic engineering, or similar.
- Several years (min. 10) of professional experience in product development, preferably in machines in the construction equipment or agricultural fields, organized in serial production.
- Strong social and intercultural competence, communication, and language skills.
- Analytical thinking and independent, goal-oriented, and systematic way of working.
- Fast information gathering and rapid learning of existing and new knowledge.
- Daily contribution to a continuous improvement (processes, global teamwork, lessons learned).
- Team player who takes ownership and responsibility.
- Very good knowledge of German and English and readiness to travel (10%).
