Senior Logistics Operations Manager, Magna IT

Magna is a global mobility technology company that creates innovative solutions for the automotive industry. As a Senior Manager, Logistics Execution System (LES), you will play a crucial role in driving the efficient operation of our logistics execution system.
About the RoleThis position is part of the Industrial Solutions team and reports directly to the Head of Magna Information Technology. Your primary responsibility will be to oversee the implementation and integration of new logistics technologies and systems, ensuring seamless support for business operations.
You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to define and document business requirements for system enhancements and improvements. Additionally, you will develop strategies to optimize the performance of our logistics execution system, monitor and analyze system use and performance, and implement corrective actions as necessary.
Your expertise will also be required to create and manage application support services billing and financials, provide training and support to end-users, and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve system-related issues.
Requirements- Proven experience in managing logistics execution systems and technology solutions, preferably in a manufacturing context.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS), transportation management systems (TMS), and other logistics technologies.
- Demonstrated understanding of cloud, edge, and on-prem computing architectures in logistics business process support.
- Proficient in data analysis and reporting, with the ability to identify trends and make data-driven decisions to drive operational improvements.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
