Head of Concept Engineering for E-Mobility

Are you a visionary leader with a passion for innovative technology solutions? As the Director of Concept Engineering for E-Mobility at Infineon Technologies AG, you will play a pivotal role in advancing the technology development of our power devices, contributing to the dynamic E-Mobility sector.
Key Responsibilities
In this leadership position, you will oversee a diverse team of experts located across multiple sites. Your role is integral to the technology development team focused on Automotive High Voltage Power Devices. You will drive your team towards exceptional performance to meet our ambitious goals as a forward-thinking organization.
In your new capacity, you will:
- Lead a team of specialists in the development of SiC-MOSFET, Si-IGBT, and diode chip technologies across various Infineon locations.
- Establish technical direction in collaboration with your team in the realm of SiC and Si power device technologies for electro-mobility.
- Recruit and onboard new talent to support the growth of your expanding team.
- Shape the future trajectory of your team in alignment with the strategic demands of the electro-mobility market and in close cooperation with global and cross-divisional development teams.
- Manage stakeholder interfaces within the Automotive division and beyond.
- Encourage continuous improvement of development methodologies within your team and the broader development community.
You are an effective communicator and a role model for your team. You prioritize high-quality outcomes through strategic planning, adeptly identifying potential challenges and devising sustainable solutions.
Your qualifications include:
- A degree in Physics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, with a preference for a PhD.
- At least 8 years of relevant experience in the semiconductor industry, particularly in chip technology development.
- A robust technical foundation in power electronic device physics, wafer technology development, and semiconductor processing.
- A proactive approach with strong communication and facilitation skills to align various stakeholders.
- The capability to analyze and structure complex scenarios: effectively manage crises and present consolidated information to senior management.
- Strong communication skills and a personable demeanor to foster successful collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
- Proficiency in English, with German as an additional asset.
