Job Title: Director Concept Engineering Technology Development for E-Mobility

As a Director of Concept Engineering for E-Mobility Technology Development, you will lead a team of technical experts in developing SiC-MOSFET, Si-IGBT, and diode chip technologies across various Infineon sites. Your role will involve setting technical direction together with your team within the field of SiC and Si power device technologies for electro-mobility.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of technical experts in developing SiC-MOSFET, Si-IGBT, and diode chip technologies
  • Set technical direction together with your team within the field of SiC and Si power device technologies for electro-mobility
  • Hire and onboard new team members in a fast-growing team
  • Shape the future growth of your team in accordance with the strategic needs of the electro-mobility market and in close alignment with the global and cross-divisional development teams
  • Manage interfaces towards various stakeholders within ATV and across
  • Foster continuous improvement of development methods within your team and within the greater development community
Requirements:
  • A degree in Physics, Electrical Engineering, or similar fields, preferably a PhD
  • At least 8 years of relevant working experience in the semiconductor industry, preferably in the area of chip technology development
  • A solid technical understanding of power electronic device physics, wafer technology development, and semiconductor processing
  • A proactive mindset with strong communication and moderation skills to align between various stakeholders
  • The ability to understand and structure complex situations: manage crisis situations, consolidate, and present those to senior management level
  • Convincing communication skills and a connecting personality to work successfully with internal and external stakeholders
  • Excellent English skills, German as a plus
