Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to join our team at VACE Engineering. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for the development and implementation of TPO (Through Process Optimization) Know How projects, with the goal of achieving project business excellence.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement TPO projects to achieve project business excellence
  • Organize and provide services, consulting's, and trainings to customers with the goal of high customer satisfaction and profitability of projects
  • Align and cooperate with external partners for Know How services, cooperation, and alignment with involved business segments and regions of the company
  • Perform root cause analytics to develop improvement measures for providing professional and practical recommendations and solutions to customers
  • Maintain long-term relationships with customers through regular follow-ups after project conclusions
  • Support building-up internal competencies, extending Know How base, and systematically documenting Know How
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree or higher in metallurgy, mechanical engineering, process engineering, or material science
  • At least 5 years of industry expertise at a consultancy and/or project engineering company, or at a steel producing company with excellent performance
  • Experience with customer project executions in the metal industry preferred
  • Working experience in steelmaking plant or/and plant building business preferred
  • Eager and ability for fast learning and extension to new domains
  • Conceptual skill and entrepreneurial mindset
  • Basic knowledge of data analytics
  • Business fluent English and German
