Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and oversee piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs) throughout the entire project lifecycle.
  • Enhance system solutions by analyzing mass and energy balance results.
  • Integrate and refine control strategies and maintenance philosophies.
  • Participate in HAZOP and LOPA studies.
  • Create innovative concepts for modularization and standardization of design processes and solutions.
  • Prepare and manage comprehensive equipment lists.
  • Review and integrate PIDs of package units.
  • Coordinate effectively with all stakeholders.
  • Clarify, discuss, and present technical solutions to clients.
  • Assist in the selection process of process equipment.
  • Align and verify layout and piping engineering outcomes.
  • Support the preparation of function descriptions.

Required Qualifications

  • Degree in process or mechanical engineering.
  • At least two years of experience as a P&ID engineer; experience in the petrochemical sector is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with P&ID CAE programs; knowledge of COMOS Process P&ID is a plus.
  • Ability to consult with clients and regulatory bodies regarding technical design requirements.
  • Strong communication skills to explain design solutions effectively.
  • Knowledge of ISO/EN standards; additional knowledge of US standards is beneficial.
  • Strong analytical and planning abilities.
  • Solution-oriented with a proactive approach.
  • Proficiency in English; proficiency in another European language is an asset.
