Your role – dynamic and forward-thinking
In this position, you will oversee a diverse team tasked with managing projects valued in the high three-digit million range, directly reporting to the Head of Projects. You will play a pivotal role within our organization, acting as an entrepreneur with complete profit and loss accountability for your assigned project.
Key responsibilities include:
- Overseeing the project through all stages, including development, procurement, production, commissioning, homologation, and final delivery to the client, as well as during the warranty phase.
- Leading multidisciplinary teams to collaboratively create innovative solutions for sustainable passenger transport, ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the process.
- Fostering an inspiring and motivating team environment that encourages creativity, teamwork, and collaboration, while empowering team members to excel.
- Communicating project outcomes and progress to management and relevant stakeholders.
- Continuously tracking project advancement, identifying obstacles, and devising solutions to guarantee timely and budget-compliant project completion, while prioritizing customer needs.
- Actively seeking improvement opportunities in close collaboration with the team, considering timelines, budgets, and quality assurance standards.
Your qualifications – solid and relevant
- A keen interest in sustainable mobility solutions, digitalization, and rail vehicles.
- An open-minded, communicative, and proactive individual capable of independently resolving challenges.
- A completed technical education (e.g., industrial engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, mechatronics, etc.).
- Several years of experience in managing customer projects.
- Proven experience in leading project teams.
- Ideally, you hold a certification in Project Management.
- Experience with rail vehicle projects is advantageous; however, a strong interest in sustainable mobility solutions and the rail vehicle sector is essential.
- Excellent oral and written proficiency in both German and English.
Additional information
The gross annual salary for this position starts at EUR 29,900.00 (full-time). Siemens, as a global organization, provides additional social benefits.
