About the Role:

The Controller of Financial Operations is a crucial position within our organization, responsible for overseeing key financial functions, including accounting processes, credit management, and payables. This role requires a hands-on leader who can guide a high-performing team, ensure compliance with accounting standards, and drive process improvements.

As the Controller of Financial Operations, you will lead, mentor, and evaluate a team of four accounting professionals, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring the integrity and overall performance of the Administration function, providing strategic advice and support to the General Manager and functional superiors.

Main Responsibilities include:

  1. Ensuring the accuracy of financial statements in compliance with local GAAP, IAS/IFRS, and Group standards.
  2. Managing year-end audit processes in collaboration with external auditors.
  3. Overseeing all accounting cycles, including OTC-AR, R2R, P2P-AP, and intercompany transactions, while effectively managing outsourced processes.
  4. Guaranteeing accurate and timely tax compliance and reporting to local authorities.
  5. Establishing and maintaining a consistent credit management process, including receivables tracking, collections oversight, and credit risk mitigation.
  6. Developing and enforcing robust internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure GRC compliance.
  7. Monitoring and optimizing financial processes (e.g., SAP Master Data Management, monthly closings, price approvals, and credit control).
  8. Supervising Treasury Management, in line with Group Treasury standards and guidelines (payments and receipts, cash management, cash planning).
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance/Business Administration or equivalent
  • Minimum 8 years of proven experience in Finance & Accounting in a multinational environment
  • German mother tongue
  • Fluency in English language
  • Excellent SAP Knowledge, HFM, and Essbase knowledge is a plus
  • MS Office knowledge
  • High level of engagement and problem-solving attitude
  • Ability to organize and meet deadlines
  • Team player

Our estimate for this position is between $120,000 - $180,000 annually, depending on qualifications and location. Ferrero International S.A. offers an attractive salary package, along with a dynamic work environment and opportunities for career growth.
