We are part of Erste Group – the largest banking group in Central and Eastern Europe with more than 2,500 branches and over 45,000 employees. Our more than 2,000 IT experts and enthusiasts are the bank's Digital Muscle.
The Payments Services Department is part of the Core Services division of Erste Digital. We are responsible for the smooth operation of national and international payment transactions and central compliance screening within the Erste Group.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement the central Erste Group Payments System architecture
- Analyze and evaluate existing system architecture to identify improvement potentials and enhancements
- Collaborate with the solution management team to design technical solutions that align with new specifications
- Ensure security, scalability, and performance of the Payments System
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Mainframe Software Architect or in a similar position
- Extensive knowledge and experience in mainframe technologies and systems, specifically in Natural/Adabas or COBOL/DB2
- Expertise in designing and implementing complex software solutions
- Excellent problem-solving skills, analytical thinking, and ability to dig through complex systems
- Strong communication skills in English and German
