Here are the responsibilities we will entrust to you:

  • As the Lead Manager of Content Collaborations, you will enhance Red Bull's global presence and audience interaction by strategically broadening its content distribution through licensing agreements and co-production initiatives. Your role will involve identifying essential media partners globally, securing strategic pre-sales, co-productions, and commissions, while supporting both local and international distribution strategies to ensure that Red Bull's media offerings are proactively promoted and aligned with future market trends.
  • You will embark on a journey to pinpoint the most significant media partners worldwide, establishing the foundation for enduring licensing collaborations that will be crucial in expanding our viewer base. These partnerships will be carefully designed to resonate with current market dynamics while anticipating and adapting to future media trends, ensuring that Red Bull's content continues to engage audiences across various channels and platforms.
  • Concurrently, you will collaborate closely to secure pre-sales, co-productions, or commissions for Red Bull's original content, ranging from unique standalone pieces to engaging series, with the most influential streaming services, broadcasters, and platforms globally.
  • Your efforts will be aligned with our network of country offices, enhancing their local deal-making capabilities. You will also play a pivotal role in organizing partner pitch sessions aimed at generating interest and initiating discussions with potential partners regarding Red Bull's diverse content offerings. Additionally, you will be instrumental in shaping distribution strategies for both live events and non-live Red Bull formats, ensuring that our content is strategically positioned in the marketplace.
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in international content sales, acquisitions, commissioning, or strategy is required.
  • A solid understanding of the global media landscape, particularly regarding streaming services, along with a working knowledge of the top 10 global markets, and an up-to-date awareness of popular programming trends in the factual and live sports sectors.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of effectively conveying ideas to diverse audiences, along with extensive experience in deal-making across various models.
  • Experience collaborating with development teams, providing valuable insights and evaluations of content concepts from their inception.
  • An established network of relevant contacts within global media organizations and a passion for building relationships.
  • A team-oriented mindset, with strong presentation and communication skills, both verbal and visual. Proficiency in English is essential, and knowledge of additional languages is advantageous.
  • Willingness to travel 20-30% of the time.
