Role Overview

The Financial Planning Manager will work closely with other departments to create accurate monthly cash forecasts, manage foreign exchange risk, and oversee bank accounts and local banking relationships. This role involves participating in regional treasury projects and leading special projects locally and potentially across the central EMEA area (Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Czech Republic). The manager will also propose dividends for joint ventures to their parent companies.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Prepare and review the company's monthly cash forecasts and provide updated reporting as needed
  • Ensure accurate bank account information is reported in the company's online account management tool
  • Work with local partnership banks to implement new banking agreements, including those related to cash pooling and credit facilities
  • Review and document the company's foreign exchange exposure from purchasing and sales contracts in foreign currency and cover it in accordance with company policy using online treasury tools
  • Perform liquidity analysis of joint ventures and propose dividend distribution, coordinating with the Legal Department to ensure required documentation
  • Drive and manage treasury projects both locally and throughout the eastern EMEA region
  • Provide regular updates on local treasury activities to the Director – Treasury Operations EMEA
Requirements
  • Undergraduate degree in Finance or Accounting
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a financial position, such as Accounting, Finance, or Audit
  • Bilingual German/English is a requirement; Czech language skills are appreciated
  • Knowledge of treasury systems is a plus, e.g., KYRIBA, SAGE XRT
  • Limited travel within the central EMEA region may be necessary

Salary

Estimated salary range: €60,000 - €80,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
