Cybersecurity Programme Assistant

The OSCE Mission to Bosnia and Herzegovina is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Cybersecurity Programme Assistant to join its team. The successful candidate will provide administrative, interpretation/translation and clerical support to the work of the Department of Security Cooperation, particularly the Anti-Terrorism & Cybersecurity (ATCS) project team, and particularly the cybersecurity portfolio, in the implementation of all programmatic/project activities.
Key Responsibilities:- Providing effective and efficient administrative and clerical support to programme and project implementation in all its phases, including by: assisting with the organization of meetings, events and other activities, conducting travel arrangements, and liaising with partners and participants;
- Attending meetings, events and other activities as required, and drafting related minutes, summaries and reports; conducting research, assisting the analytical review/assessment of policy documents, legislation and data/information, and supporting the drafting of related summaries, updates, background papers, briefs, reports and/or presentations;
- Participating in programme and project-level planning, including by sharing insights and proposing creative/innovative ideas and solutions; supporting drafting and review of written outputs, including reporting inputs and budget requests;
- Providing effective translation and consecutive interpretation into the languages of Bosnia and Herzegovina and English, including by translating texts and documents relevant for all of the Departments portfolios, attending high-level external meetings with ministerial and ambassadorial representation, and liaising with government, international and civil society counterparts as directed;
- Providing backstopping for the Programme Assistant, Anti-terrorism within the Anti-Terrorism & Cybersecurity (ATCS) Project.
- Completed secondary education, supplemented by formal studies in administration and/or languages;
- A minimum of five years of administrative/organizational and programme/project support experience, preferably with international organisations;
- Established experience in conducting translation as well as consecutive interpretation between English and the languages of Bosnia and Herzegovina;
- Professional fluency in English and in local languages with excellent communication (both oral and written) skills;
- Computer literate with practical experience using Microsoft applications.
Monthly remuneration, subject to social security deductions is BAM/month. Social benefits will include participation in the Cigna health insurance scheme and the OSCE Provident Fund.
