Marketplace Product Manager Job Description

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Senior Marketplace Product Manager to join our team at STANDARD Medien AG in Vienna, Austria. The ideal candidate will have several years of experience as a product manager or in managing online projects, preferably in the e-commerce or classifieds environment.

About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to work on building a sustainable product infrastructure that makes it easy for our users to find real estate and jobs. As a Senior Marketplace Product Manager, you will be responsible for shortening paths and simplifying processes for our internal employees, while also contributing significantly to turning ideas into products (end-to-end responsibility). Your commitment will enable us to expand our position in the market.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategies to improve user experience and engagement on our marketplace platform
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including development, design, and marketing, to drive product innovation and growth
- Analyze data and metrics to inform product decisions and optimize user journeys
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure alignment on product vision and goals
- Identify areas for process improvement and implement changes to enhance efficiency and productivity

Requirements
- Several years of experience as a product manager or in managing online projects, preferably in the e-commerce or classifieds environment
- Excellent technical understanding and ability to work with teams of developers
- Proficient in agile working methods and have a high degree of personal responsibility
- Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret data to inform product decisions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders
