Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Master's Degree in nuclear or mechanical engineering or a related technical discipline
  • A minimum of ten years of relevant professional experience in research and technology development in nuclear fusion technology
  • Demonstrated comprehensive understanding of global advancements in nuclear fusion technology
  • Proven track record in managing technical and scientific projects, strong leadership and organizational skills
  • Exceptional communication skills, both oral and written, with a high level of proficiency in English

The IAEA offers a competitive remuneration package, including a tax-free annual net base salary starting at US $92,731, a variable post adjustment, dependency benefits, rental subsidy, education grant, relocation and repatriation expenses, and other benefits.
