Market Development Strategist

We are seeking a highly skilled Market Development Manager to join our team at Anton Paar GmbH. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for driving business growth and market expansion in the pharmaceutical industry worldwide.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement business development and market growth strategies to increase our market share in the regulated pharmaceutical industry.
- Analyze market trends, opportunities, and risks to inform business decisions.
- Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to identify and penetrate new accounts and increase business opportunities with existing customers.
- Collaborate with sales professionals to develop and execute sales strategies.
- Provide market insights and feedback to product management to inform product portfolio enhancements.
- Develop new areas of application for existing products and services in collaboration with product managers and application specialists.
- Provide quarterly business updates on market trends, opportunities, and challenges.
- At least 5 years of experience in market/business development, ideally in a regulated industry.
- Thorough understanding of quality guidelines, including US Pharmacopeia, 21 CFR part 11, and ICH Guidelines.
- At least 5 years of experience in technical sales in a B2B environment.
- PhD or Master's degree in Life Sciences, Biology, Pharmaceutics, or a combination of Business degree with relevant industry experience.
- High level of business acumen and economic understanding.
- Strong analytical and conceptual skills with the ability to prioritize and focus on the essential.
- Hands-on, detail-oriented, flexible, and results-driven with a high level of customer-focus.
- Ability to work independently and develop relationships with key opinion leaders and important contacts in the pharmaceutical industry and regulatory bodies.
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills with the ability to build long-lasting relationships with different stakeholders.
- Experience in international and cross-cultural business environments is an advantage.
- Willingness to travel internationally at least 25% of the time.
- Fluency in English (written and spoken) is a must; additional German fluency is considered an advantage.
