We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Marketing & Sales Lead Retail to join our dynamic team in Vienna. As a key member of our commercial team, you will play a pivotal role in driving sales growth and developing our brand strategy in the Retail market.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a high-performing sales team and drive the annual brand plan development and implementation for the products under your responsibility in the country.
  • Collaborate closely with the brand team to shape our brand strategy and ensure excellent sales execution, consistently meeting and exceeding sales targets.
  • Establish sales Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), continuously monitor sales performance, and generate insightful reports to drive decision-making and optimize outcomes.
  • Train the sales force team on strategy, materials, and other product-related capabilities, as well as provide support for local programs and initiatives.
  • Manage the annual brand plans and budgets for the products under your responsibility in the country.
  • Develop and implement local brand tactics, including prioritizing appropriate targeting, positioning, and messaging across all customer segments/persona.
  • Manage external vendors/agencies and lead day-to-day operational projects.
Requirements
  • University degree in economics, business, medicine, or a life science-related discipline.
  • Substantial professional experience in the Austrian pharmaceutical industry (minimum 5 years).
  • Demonstrated leadership in managing and motivating sales teams, setting clear objectives, and achieving targets across multiple regions.
  • Strong track record of strategic and operational planning as well as execution for products promoted in the Retail setting.
  • Knowledge of the local legal and regulatory landscape.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to work with key customers, such as KOLs.
  • German as native language; professional level in English, both in oral and in written communications.
  • Ability to travel.
What We Offer

We offer our candidates an exciting area of responsibility in a global pharmaceutical company. The remuneration is based on an internal company salary schedule and is approximately EUR70,000 gross per year plus a variable portion, depending on education and previous experience. We are offering a flexible and hybrid working model.
