Software Quality Assurance Specialist

At AVL List GmbH, we are seeking a skilled Software Quality Assurance Specialist to play a key role in shaping the quality of our software products. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for optimizing processes, conducting quality audits, and serving as a central point of contact for our global subsidiaries.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to drive the continuous improvement of our software products and ensure they meet the highest quality standards. You will work closely with local and global internal customers to resolve quality issues related to software products.

  • Optimize software product development processes to ensure quality and efficiency.
  • Conduct regular quality audits to identify areas for improvement and develop solutions.
  • Support the organization in root cause analysis and develop short- and long-term solutions.
  • Moderate regular Quality Round Tables in the software business units to foster collaboration and knowledge sharing.
  • Implement internal quality audits for processes and product development projects.
  • Ensure continuous quality improvements of software products through process optimization and innovation.
  • Collaborate with developers and segment managers to support process and product releases (quality gate reviews).
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A completed education in electrical engineering, industrial engineering, environmental systems science, or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of professional experience in software quality assurance.
  • Enthusiasm for innovative software products and strong communication skills.
  • The ability to interact effectively with different stakeholders at eye level.
  • A committed and persistent personality with a precise and proactive approach to work.
  • Very good knowledge of German and English languages.
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary range of €80,000 - €110,000 per year, depending on your experience and qualifications. This estimate is based on industry standards for similar positions in Germany.
