- Design, develop, and implement automated testing scripts using a Python-based framework (PyTest), significantly enhancing our automated testing coverage.
- Conduct (pre-)certifications and assist engineering teams in securing approvals for various music services, including Google Cast, Spotify, and AirPlay.
- Evaluate and refine existing testing protocols while contributing your innovative ideas.
- Work closely with developers to identify, document, and monitor bugs and issues.
- Participate in the ongoing enhancement of our quality assurance methodologies and initiatives aimed at improving testing efficiency.
- Support Manual Testers as necessary to ensure a smooth testing workflow.
- Advocate for and help implement QA best practices throughout the department.
- Proficiency in Python: A solid understanding of Python is essential for contributing to automated testing.
- Passion for Software Testing: A strong enthusiasm for identifying bugs and ensuring software excellence.
- Testing Experience: Previous experience in software testing, particularly for embedded systems, is advantageous.
- Understanding of Programming Concepts: Familiarity with basic programming principles will facilitate your adaptation to the specific languages used in this role.
- Linux Knowledge: Basic knowledge of the Linux command-line interface is beneficial.
- Familiarity with Tools: Experience with tools such as JIRA and Git is preferred.
- Quick Learner: An ability to swiftly grasp new concepts and technologies.
- Attention to Detail: A meticulous approach to identifying even minor issues.
