The Opportunity

At PriceHubble, we organize our teams into Tribes. Each Tribe focuses on a specific aspect of our product, identifying customer needs, creating solutions, and ensuring seamless operations. With independence and flexibility, engineers can rotate between project teams and a group focused on maintenance and technical enhancements.

The Property Intelligence Tribe provides valuable insights for informed real estate decisions. This includes assessing property values, tracking market trends, evaluating investment opportunities, and improving property management. Our goal is to deliver high-quality, unique insights and intellectual property that drive our products.

This distributed team comprises engineers from 6 nationalities, working in 5 different European countries.

Job Description

As an experienced Senior Data Scientist, you will work on the ML systems driving our platform's core services. You'll design, implement, and maintain Automated Valuation Models (AVMs) that professionals trust for assessing residential property values.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop product features directly impacting revenue growth, as our valuation models are major selling points for customers.
  • Navigate cost-value trade-offs to make informed decisions that deliver value to customers at an appropriate cost.
  • Implement solutions that work well across 10+ countries, considering local specifics in your model.
  • Lead projects from concept to launch, collaborating with temporary engineering teams.
  • Raise the bar and drive the team to deliver high-quality products, services, and processes.
  • Enhance the performance and cost-efficiency of our ML models and pipelines at scale.
  • Maintain and monitor the ML systems owned by your team.
RequirementsWhat We Look For

We're seeking a candidate with a product-oriented mindset and enthusiasm for contributing to user-facing products. You should see ML as a means to an end, focusing on delivering value to customers.

  • Excellent English communication skills, both spoken and written, for effective collaboration with cross-functional partners and mentoring fellow engineers.
  • A hands-on approach, valuing clear, simple, and maintainable code. You understand that code is read more often than it's written.
  • A growth mindset, continuously learning and seeking new challenges.
  • Over 3 years of industry experience applying machine learning to solve business problems and writing production ML pipelines.
