About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Support Specialist to join our team. As an Onsite IT Support Specialist, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional technical support to our clients, addressing hardware, software, and network issues in a timely and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide proactive technical support to clients, identifying and resolving potential issues before they become major problems.
  • Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, software, and networks, ensuring optimal performance and security.
  • Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues, working closely with the remote support team and other IT staff as needed.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service, maintaining a professional demeanor and building strong client relationships.
  • Maintain detailed records of service requests, resolutions, and follow-up actions in the ticketing system.
  • Perform routine maintenance and system updates to ensure optimal performance and security.
  • Provide training and guidance to clients on the use of hardware and software, enhancing their knowledge and confidence.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in an IT support role, preferably in a field service capacity, with a strong track record of delivering exceptional results.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows and Mac OS, networking protocols, and common software applications, with a focus on troubleshooting and resolution.
  • Relevant certifications, such as CompTIA A+ or Microsoft Certified Professional, are highly desirable.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and outside the box.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with non-technical users and stakeholders.
  • Ability to lift and carry computer equipment, and perform tasks that may require physical exertion.
  • Fluency in German and English (both written and spoken) is essential.
