Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Enterprise User Experience Support Specialist to join our Magna IT Austria team in Vienna. As an essential member of our global support team, you will be responsible for delivering top-notch technical assistance to our internal customers across various IT matters.

Role Summary

This role involves providing first- and second-level support for our central and decentralized network & server environments. You will work closely with the team to resolve incidents and requests from start to finish, ensuring seamless service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage incidents and requests in 1st- and 2nd-level support (Matrix42)
  • Offer assistance in software and hardware areas, including Windows10, O365, smartphones, notebooks, Linux workstations, and more
  • Analyze, classify, and process incoming requests with precision
  • Collaborate in the support and operation of the network & server infrastructure (Cisco, Fortinet, etc.)
  • Solve complex malfunctions and requirements independently within the responsible department
  • Provide remote support and take on tasks in projects/sub-projects
Requirements and Qualifications

To succeed in this position, you should possess:

  • A completed training as an IT specialist for system integration or comparable experience/training
  • Several years of professional experience as IT Support staff/IT System Administrator
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
  • Excellent knowledge in 1st & 2nd level support (hardware & software)
  • Strong expertise in Windows operating systems and PC client management
  • Fundamental knowledge in network administration and Windows servers
  • Agile, independent way of thinking and working
  • High level of commitment and organizational skills
  • Strong user and service orientation
  • Very good German and English language skills, both written and spoken
