Job Title: Senior Researcher

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Researcher to join our team at Dynatrace. As a Senior Researcher, you will be responsible for conducting independent research in the field of Cloud Native Security, identifying new research topics, and developing prototypes in one or more fields.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct independent research in Cloud Native Security and identify new research topics
  • Develop prototypes in one or more fields of Cloud Native Security
  • Define use cases and demos to connect novel research ideas with product components
  • Bridge academic research and commercial technology development by collaborating with our application security team and other internal and external stakeholders
  • Contribute to the global research community by publishing and disseminating research findings in journals, speaking and presenting at conferences
  • Actively participate in scientific and industrial cooperation projects
  • Guide PhD and master students in their career path
  • Assist the lead researcher in defining and prioritizing the research roadmap
Requirements:
  • PhD in Computer Science or a related field
  • Experience and/or expertise in at least one of the relevant research topics
  • Good understanding of cyber and cloud security topics and their impacts on products and customer experience
  • Strong publication record
  • Great communication skills when it comes to presenting and discussing research results with stakeholders
  • Excellent English skills (oral and written)

Compensation and Rewards:
  • We offer attractive compensation packages and stock purchase options with numerous benefits and advantages.
  • Due to legal reasons, we are obliged to disclose the minimum salary for this position, which is € 56,000 gross per year based on full-time employment. We offer a higher salary in line with qualifications and experience.
