Critical Environment Technician Manager

About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Critical Environment Technician Manager to join our team at Microsoft. As a key member of our Cloud Operations & Innovation (CO+I) team, you will play a critical role in delivering the core infrastructure and foundational technologies for Microsoft's online services.
Responsibilities
As a Critical Environment Technician Manager, you will be responsible for:
- People Management
- Empower and develop a high-performing team of operations specialists
- Model, coach, and care for team members to achieve success
- Equipment and Systems Operations
- Oversee and coach team members in the inspection and maintenance of critical environment-related facility equipment
- Monitor performance of maintenance and operations utilizing telemetry, control systems, and other platforms
- Respond to and lead incident response teams for abnormal conditions
- Equipment and Systems Maintenance
- Guide and oversee various types of maintenance and repairs following standard operating procedures
- Serve as a subject matter expert for one type of equipment and oversee everyday tasks and troubleshooting
- Critical Environment Culture
- Ensure safety and security requirements are followed and met for the work of themselves and others
- Maintain safe working conditions and escalate immediately when unsafe working conditions are observed
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
- Mission critical services work or equivalent experience
- Ability to meet Microsoft, customer, and/or government security screening requirements
Preferred Qualifications

- Associate's Degree or technical trade certification
