About the Role

As Access Lead Austria, you will play a pivotal role in reinforcing the local team, ensuring patients have access to new and established assets while maintaining optimal pricing and reimbursement conditions.

Responsibilities

  • Develop holistic pricing & reimbursement strategies for Austria, considering the local healthcare system and implications for specific assets/indications.
  • Prepare and present robust value story decks to payers, incorporating business cases and external engagement initiatives.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify risks and opportunities, proposing innovative solutions to drive access and pricing strategies forward.
  • Build strong relationships with payers, key accounts, and cross-functional teams to ensure smooth execution of market access plans and business planning.
  • Develop early access and individual access programs, leveraging field insights and value dossier development to inform negotiations with payers.

Requirements

  • Market access experience, with the ability to adapt global strategies to the local Austrian context.
  • Excellent communication skills in German and English, with the ability to articulate information in a clear, inspirational manner.
  • University background in Health/Life Science, with a plus in Health Economics.
  • Ability to understand complex scientific and economic data, converting them into a strong local value story.
  • Knowledge of the Austrian healthcare environment and reimbursement system is mandatory.
  • Cross-functional team player, able to build a network with relevant stakeholders.
