The Opportunity Our award-winning security business is looking for a Business Development Manager to hunt out sales opportunities and drive growth across the New South Wales region.
In this key role, you will be responsible for executing strategic growth initiatives and building long-term relationships across multiple verticals within the technology and security sectors.
Key responsibilities include: Contribute to the development and execution of the growth strategy for the region.Drive new business with the region and expand existing relationships in key verticals.Build the Security business profile in targeted vertical sectors.Grow channel partner support and communication processes that enhance partner relationships.Analyse market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to inform account strategies.Negotiate contract renewals, pricing agreements, and service level agreements to ensure profitability and client satisfaction.Network widely to challenge your thinking and gain new insights and ideas to help drive success.The Fit You're a seasoned sales hunter, who excels in the realm of prospecting, generating leads, closing deals and expanding the geographic and vertical reach of your territory.
To succeed in this role, you'll also need:
Minimum 5 years of proven experience in B2B sales, ideally within the technology or security industry.Strong solution selling skills with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts.Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.Ambitious and results-driven mindset, with a proven track record of exceeding sales targets.Why Gallagher?
