About the Role:As a Modelling Analyst – Wholesale Energy Markets, you will focus on detailed analysis, forecasting, and modelling to support trading, operations, and strategic planning.
Key Responsibilities:Build and maintain advanced market models using tools to optimise operations and assess market behaviour.Conduct scenario analysis and forecasting to evaluate market trends, pricing impacts, and policy developments.Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including trading, strategy, and operations teams, to deliver actionable insights.Create detailed visualisations and reports using Tableau, Power BI, or similar tools to support decision-making.Analyse the integration of renewable energy resources and their effects on market operations and system performance.Provide technical expertise to support compliance with market frameworks and drive performance improvements.About You:The ideal candidate has strong analytical and technical skills, coupled with a deep understanding of energy markets.
Key qualifications include:
