About the Role
Are you a passionate and experienced nursing professional ready to take on a leadership role in Anaesthetics?
As a Nurse Unit Manager, you will play a pivotal role in coordinating patient care delivery and ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety.
Using your clinical expertise, you will provide strong leadership to the nursing team, fostering a collaborative environment that supports continuity of care and outstanding patient outcomes in line with the Department of Health's quality framework.

About You
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Nurse Unit Manager with strong leadership skills and a commitment to excellence in patient care.
To succeed in this role, you will demonstrate:
Qualifications: Current registration as a General Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and a valid practising certificate.
Skills and Abilities: Exceptional leadership, communication, problem-solving, and team collaboration skills, with the ability to foster a positive and innovative workplace culture.
Experience: At least 3 years post-registration experience with demonstrated expertise in Anaesthetic practice, aligned with ACORN standards, and previous management and leadership experience.
Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of professional nursing standards, healthcare legislation, WH&S requirements, and quality improvement systems within a healthcare setting.
