plus Superannuation and Salary Sacrifice benefits – RN2A Ongoing Full-Time (Multiple Positions) About the Role: The Northern Adelaide Local Health Network is seeking Associate Nurse Unit Managers to join our team within the Division of Surgical Specialties and Anaesthetics.
The Northern Adelaide Local Health Network (NALHN) is a leading provider of public healthcare services in South Australia.
As an Associate Nurse Unit Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the efficient and effective operation of the wards.
Your responsibilities will include providing clinical leadership, supporting professional development and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
You will work closely with the Nurse Unit Manager and the multidisciplinary team to ensure the delivery of high-quality, patient-centred care.
Modbury hospital contains 1 surgical ward and 1 day procedure unit: 1 East is the surgical ward.
It has 12 beds and the service runs 24 hours for 7 days per week.
1 West is the day procedure unit which contains 20 chairs.
In this fast-paced environment, all patients present here for admission prior to surgery, flow through to theatre, then return to either here or ward 1 east.
Ward 1 West is open Monday – Friday 7am to 8.30pm.
All staff employed to these areas will be expected to work a 7-day roster, rotating across 1 East and 1 West.
We perform a variety of high throughput elective surgeries such as orthopaedics (including arthroplasties), urology, general surgery, gynaecology, plastics, ENT, ophthalmology and gastroenterology.
To be eligible for this position, you must be registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and who holds, or who is eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate with at least 3 years post graduate experience.
