Team Leaders/Supervisors (Manufacturing, Transport & Logistics)

Northfleet are the largest fleet provider in the Pilbara and are a market leader in the transport, bus, vehicle, and crane hire industry, supplying solutions to customers throughout Perth, Pilbara, Southwest and regional Western Australia.
We are currently seeking an experienced Field Supervisor to lead our bussing team in Karratha.
You will be responsible for the smooth running of driving shifts onsite, ensuring adequate shift coverage and working within fatigue management requirements to ensure optimum levels of safety are upheld.
This position will be offered as either a local position based in Karratha or a FIFO position on a 3:1 roster from Perth.

Key Responsibilities Include:

Act as the first point of contact for Bus Drivers and escalate any issues to Operations Supervisor or Manager to ensure customer excellence and client satisfaction are maintained.
Arrange for maintenance and repair of buses as required.
Oversee safety requirements including pre-start checks and escalate any maintenance issues.
Conduct routine bus inspections to ensure the highest levels of cleanliness and sanitation.
Display dedication and motivation in providing excellent customer service to our valued client.
Compliance with all company policies, procedures, and fitness for work requirements.
Reporting any fitness for work issues to the Operations Supervisor or Manager immediately.
Conduct daily pre-starts with the bus driving team.
Conduct daily breathalyser testing in accordance with company and site requirements.
Ensure all timesheets have been collated and reviewed in time for pay runs.
Report any hazards to the Supervisor or Operations Manager immediately.
Ensuring regular detailing and servicing schedules are met.
Ensuring drivers are refuelling buses to adequate levels to reduce interruptions to fleet schedules.
Management of documentation and liaising with admin and scheduling staff.
Be familiar with all emergency procedures on site.

Requirements:

At least 2 year's proven experience as a Team Leader or Supervisor.
At least 3 years' experience as a Bus Driver.
Valid HR driver's licence.
Be safety conscious and have a strong understanding of OH&S requirements.
Sound understanding of fatigue management legislative requirements.
PTD.
Fatigue Management Certificate.
Fitness to Drive Report.
White Card.
Basic First Aid and CPR (Desirable).
