About the role We are currently seeking a reliable, enthusiastic and experienced Boilermaker Tradesperson to join our maintenance team.
You will be joining a close-knit and supportive team where you will get exposure to multiple parts of the business and no two days are the same.
Your responsibilities include: Daily planning of service events (Mechanical, Fabrication)Complete and report daily pre-operational checksKeeping accurate records of completed workCompliance with quality and safety processesAssisting with breakdown work as requiredGeneral preventative maintenance and fabricationParticipate in safety inspections and assist in improvement of safety processes and initiativesReport hazards and incidents in a timely mannerCarry out maintenance tasks in accordance with systems and processes to achieve operational performance targets and KPI'sMinimum Requirements: Trade qualified - Welder / Boilermaker or Certificate III in heavy fabricationLight to heavy fabrication skillsAbility to interpret and read engineering drawingsForklift licence, Elevated work platform license, working at heights and dogging are highly regardedAbility to weld with the following:MMA – Manual Metal Arc WeldingGMAW – Gas Metal Arc WeldingFCAW – Flux Core Arc WeldingAir Arc GougingOxy Cutting, gougingKey Benefits: Access to long service leave after 5 years: Employees who are not covered by an Enterprise Agreement can access accrued Long Service Leave (LSL) at the rate of 1.3 weeks per year of service after 5 years continuous service.Employee Benefits Program: discounts for employees, friends and family on a huge selection of products and services from a variety of brands including Samsung, Coles, Harvey Norman, Village Cinemas, Dick Smith, Vodafone, Thrifty and many more.Corporate rates for private health insurance: Nib Health Insurance offers discounted cover for employees.About us InfraBuild is Australia's leading integrated steel manufacturing, distribution and recycling business, making steel using our electric arc furnaces.
