About the roleA great opportunity has arisen for a Residential Estimator to come on board at our Laverton North branch with ARC (The Australian Reinforcing Company).
You will be responsible for managing and coordinating customer enquiries related to the timely and accurate take-off from Architectural and Engineering drawings.
You will support the development of priced estimates and production schedules ensuring to deliver a high standard of service to our customer base.
You will be responsible for:
Establishing and maintaining relationships with customers and ensuring customer expectations are met and exceeded.Accurately interpreting Engineering and Architectural drawings for the purpose of providing reinforcing quantities.Communicating with Architects, Engineers and Builders to clarify any points or uncertainties which may arise.Sharing knowledge with stakeholders and addressing estimating issues.About your experience: We are looking for a proactive and engaging team player with a customer-centric focus and with previous estimating or scheduling experience looking to further their career with an Iconic Australian business.
We would love to speak to candidates with the following:
A minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience in the Building Industry.Experience in interpreting and estimating quantities of reinforcing material from Engineering and Architectural drawings is desirable but not essential.High-level problem-solving skills and analytical capability, including negotiation skills.Excellent technical skills and sound knowledge of Microsoft Excel.Ability to develop and maintain excellent client relationships.Experience working in a high volume role, with competing priorities.Key Benefits Below are some of our key central benefits that are available to InfraBuild employees.
