MultiLit Pty Ltd (Making Up Lost Time In Literacy) is a leading provider of effective literacy instruction in Australasia. Our programs are uniquely placed to be effective because they are all grounded in scientific evidence-based best practice. For over two decades, we have provided assistance in learning to read to thousands of students in a variety of settings, including schools, our own Literacy Centres and community-based literacy projects across Australia, New Zealand and Asia. Our office is based in Macquarie Park and easily accessible by public transport.About the RoleThe Education Technology Lead is responsible for the application of technology and learning design within the instructional content of adult professional development courses and instructional programs for students.The Education Technology Lead will advance the quality and impact of MultiLit's professional development courses. MultiLit offers a range of courses in the format of self-paced and facilitated workshops which incorporate digital learning interactives, animations and explainer videos. Our professional development courses are aligned to our highly regarded education programs. In addition, the role also supports our higher education initiative offered by the Academy for the Science of Instruction. MultiLit professional development courses equip educators to deliver MultiLit programs as designed and to realise the intended student outcomes embedded in our programs.MultiLit programs offer teachers a comprehensive set of evidence-based teaching resources. This role will enable the digitisation of instructional resources to be used by students alongside existing learning resources.MultiLit's instructional methodology is systematic and explicit, and this approach is central to the design of both student learning resources and adult professional development courses. This role is responsible for the creation of digital assets and the selection of technology solutions that align with this principle.This role leads learning technology initiatives across our organisation and will work closely with the in-house Design Team. The role will also ensure MultiLit stays abreast of trends and innovations in the field of learning design. The Educational Technology Lead manages a small team of Learning Designers. The role is based in MultiLit's Macquarie Park office.About YouTo be successful in this role, you will have:Experience managing others and coordinating the collective effort of a teamAbility to develop project plans and manage time and resources efficientlyExperience designing and developing online learning experiences to a high professional standard using the ADDIE frameworkExperience leading the integration of technology into classroom instructional sequencesAbility to create custom digital assets for use within learning experiences using technologies such as Articulate Storyline, Adobe Creative Cloud including animation and video toolsKnowledge and practical application of adult learning methodologies and instructional design principlesDemonstrated ability to work independently and in consultation with subject matter expertsExceptional work ethic and interpersonal skills that build rapport with colleaguesStrong attention to detail to complement superior organisational and time management skillsOutstanding verbal and written communication skills.Role ResponsibilitiesDevelop an educational technology strategy aligned to MultiLit principles and priorities as well as the needs of the Professional Development & School Partnership and Product Development teamsManage learning design and educational technology project teams on a day-to-day basisCollaborate with subject matter experts to analyse curriculum requirements, learning objectives and needs to develop effective learning solutionsReview current educational technology software and identify solutions that may enhance MultiLit professional development and teaching programsDesign effective learning content and activities in alignment with MultiLit methodology and best practice technology integrationDesign storyboards, online templates, and processes for professional developmentDevelop high quality learning content using technologies including Articulate Storyline for use within the MultiLit LMS (OpenLearning)Integrate and manage the administration of learning technology solutionsCollaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to ensure effective integration of new products and services to business as usualReview and evaluate the pedagogical effectiveness of learning solutionsProvide learning analytics reports and analysis.All offers of employment with MultiLit Pty Ltd are subject to staff signing a confidentiality agreement and providing a current Working with Children Check.Apply nowTo find out more about this great opportunity, please email Sharon Cheers, Director of Professional Development and School Partnerships, at ****** can also submit your application below.
