We're looking for a dedicated Maintenance Worker to provide essential modifications and repairs to the homes and yards of older adults and individuals with disabilities, ensuring their environment remains safe and accessible.
Position Highlights: Conduct minor home and yard repairs without requiring a trade qualification.
Perform maintenance that enhances safety and independence, from installing handrails to securing flooring.
Tackle urgent needs such as fixing lighting, addressing water issues, or securing doors and windows.
Carry out non-urgent tasks, including pruning, small painting jobs, and gutter cleaning, to maintain a safe, pleasant environment.
Assist clients in navigating maintenance needs, providing information on council and community services.
What We're Looking For: Experience in maintenance Valid Victorian driver's license.
Ability to prioritise, troubleshoot, and work independently, with knowledge of safe work practices.
Strong communication skills to effectively assist and support clients.
Physically fit to perform the role Clear police check is required.
