Our solutions allow media professionals to create, manage and distribute (social media, mobile, VOD and OTT) content faster and more efficiently, fully maximizing the value of assets.
Responsibilities:Gather sizing requirements from customers in order to provide scaled Cloud or On-prem environmentsAnalyse change requests for upscaling environmentsAnalyse bug reports in JIRA, and resolve either in collaboration with Dev team or by correcting environmentTest environments during testing phases as part of the delivery projectUpdate environments based on new releases of the softwareUpdate infrastructure scripts accordingly (Terraform + Ansible)Maintain infrastructure scripts (Terraform + Ansible)Manage versioning of the scripts in BitbucketDocument scripts in BitbucketShare documentation of scripts with customer during handover sessionsSupport the Sales and Pre Sales teams during proposals on sizing questions and all technical questions regarding infrastructureProvide cost estimates (mostly on cloud environments) during proposals to evaluate TCV (total contract value)Provide design solutions and proof of concepts and full proposal including cost of projectsManage platforms, implementation and developmentSpearhead training of the team and manage showroomUpdate infrastructure and deployment scripts (Terraform + Ansible) in order to support latest releases and improve performance of deployments on different projectsCoordinate actions to support sales and presales activitiesThe job will be permanent, full time, with hours to be worked between 9.00 am and 5.30 pm Monday to Friday.
Minimum Requirements:Minimum of 2 years' experience with the Linux operating system.
(Ideally some form of a Linux Administration Certification)Minimum experience of 2 years for developing and deploying server-side applications (Java / Groovy, Javascript / Node js)Minimum Experience of 2 years for developing and deploying web technologies (Javascript / React.js)Understanding of protocols / technologies like HTTP, SSL, SQL, HTML, XML, JSONUnderstanding application clustering / load balancing concepts and technologiesExperience with Amazon Web Services (AWS), Rackspace (RKS) or Microsoft Azure (Azure) technologies, Google Cloud Platform (GCP)Minimum Experience of 1 year for automating deployments using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, DockerMinimum Experience of 1 year for evaluating third-party software integrations like API, MOS, file exchangesMinimum Experience of 1 year for versioning tools for maintaining program code and associated documentation like Git and BitbucketMinimum Experience of 1 year for monitoring tools like Grafana, ELK, PrometheusExperience in participating as an exhibitor and demonstrator in media industry technology exhibitions such as Broadcast Asia, InterBee, and ABE Australia.Highly motivated in customer support services and client satisfactionExperience in troubleshooting / debugging complex technical issuesExcellent written and oral communication skills in EnglishGood written and oral communication skills in FrenchMust be able to articulate technical solutions to all audiencesAbility to work independently and as a team playerMinimum of 5 years' experience with Media Asset Management SystemUnderstanding of video Formats and CodecsIf you are interested in this job, please submit an application.
