Collaborating with key internal stakeholders and external vendors.
We are seeking an experienced Senior Payroll Lead to join us in a newly created role within the People & Culture function.
In this role you will provide end to end management of payroll processes, leading a team of approximately 7-10 to deliver an effective service to our employees, and manage associated compliance and reporting requirements.
Your responsibilities will include managing compliance with Australian employment laws, tax obligations, superannuation, and relevant regulations.
This includes managing payroll audits and reporting for financial, tax, and regulatory bodies.
You will collaborate with our technical teams including internal and external stakeholders to deliver required system changes.
What you will bring We are seeking a candidate with experience leading a highly effective payroll function, ideally within complex, enterprise environments.
Relevant tertiary qualification, combined with knowledge of the relevant Australian law and regulations associated with payroll is essential.
Experience with SAP SuccessFactors or other enterprise HCM/payroll solutions is advantageous.
You believe in a strong service ethic and the value payroll can add, and are passionate about ensuring we are proactive and responsive to the needs of our people.
You enjoy being hands-on supporting the team where needed, however your leadership style enables you to lead both within the payroll function and across the business to drive outcomes.
You will leverage your strong analytics, problem-solving and change leadership skills to enhance the payroll experience for our team and broader employees.
