But enough about us, let's talk about you Our Arts and Culture team is looking for a dynamic, passionate, and capable individual to fill the position of Arts Development Officer – Public Art and Projects, to deliver outstanding arts and cultural outcomes in Mandurah, in partnership with the community.
You will be responsible for: Delivering the goals and objectives of the Arts and Culture Strategy 2023-2028 and the Strategic Community Plan 2020 – 2040.Providing specialist public art project planning, implementation, and guidance.Contributing towards the management of the City's public art collection and a place-based cultural program.Contributing towards the management of the City's civic art collection.Supporting Mandurah's diverse community to have access to creative opportunities, initiatives, and collaborations.Responding to the professional development needs of the creative community.To be successful you will have: Minimum five years' experience in working with public art.Minimum five years' working in the arts, events management, or an allied field.Experience in budgets and budgeting processes.Experience in sourcing, administering, and acquitting grants, sponsorships, and funding opportunities.National Police Clearance.Experience of working with Local Government is preferred but not essential.The finer details This permanent part-time Level 5 position (30 hours per week) attracts a pro-rata salary range of $87,623 to $93,338 gross per annum, dependent on qualifications and experience.
