Management (Manufacturing, Transport & Logistics)Our general crane hire company is well-established in the construction industry and has become the supplier of choice for some of the largest principal building contractors in Queensland. With an ever-expanding fleet of cranes and plant, highly trained and experienced operators, and a brand-new purpose-built mechanical service centre, we offer our clients complete lifting solutions with an emphasis on safety and cost-efficiency.We are seeking a suitably experienced General Manager to oversee our onsite crew of crane drivers, riggers, dogmen and labourers, our resident mechanics and a small team of sales and administration staff.To be successful you will need:Proven managerial experience. Construction/Plant Hire industry experience will be highly regarded, although is not mandatoryLeadership skills to effectively engage and manage a diverse workforce of between 60 to 80 personnelStrong verbal communication and organisational skillsWorking knowledge of the financial and administrative requirements of a business i.e. budgeting, reporting and accounting preceptsSelf-motivation and a determination to succeed in a challenging environmentWhat we offer:A competitive salary package, great conditions and the support of an enthusiastic team to help you achieve operational excellence.
