Job DescriptionThe People Business Partner for Hola Central (Head Office) will play a key role in driving and executing the people strategy in alignment with GYG's business objectives.
This role will support their respective management teams to manage the employee lifecycle, foster a culture of engagement, and support initiatives that drive team member performance, career development and retention.
What you can expect in the role: Contribute to the development and execution of people strategies for the Head Office teams, partnering with the business to drive key people initiatives and performance outcomes.Analyse people data to improve restaurant results and the overall team experience.Facilitate employee engagement surveys and action planning, continuously identifying opportunities to improve team experience.Support managers in performance management processes, ensuring role clarity, regular performance reviews, and coaching for leaders.Provide insights and recommendations on pay reviews, bonus structures, and performance outcomes.Oversee succession planning and career development initiatives for high-potential team members.Proactively address turnover risks, analyse trends, and collaborate with managers to ensure effective recruitment and retention strategies.Manage and resolve employee relations matters in accordance with GYG's policies and procedures.Educate and support managers on employment legislation, workplace compliance, and performance management.Lead cross-functional collaboration to execute key people programs, such as diversity and inclusion initiatives, engagement surveys, and reward and recognition programs.You'll enjoy this role if you have: Previous experience in a Business Partnering role within a fast paced environmentAdvanced understanding of Australian employment law, award interpretation and disciplinary managementExperience running end to end people projectsCoaching skills, comfortable delivering feedback to all different levels in the businessWe're incredibly proud of our amazing people and always have each other's backs.
